My situation at work (check my Livejournal if you are at all interested in THAT wankfest) has given me a lot more free time and a massive lack of funds. So I'm in a spot and I'm doing what ever I can to raise more funds around the house. My wife and I are going to be doing knit commissions and I am going to be selling plushes when I can lock down a good place to get good fabric.

But for now I'm doing sketch, chibi and portrait commissions.

Prices:

$5 per character for inked chibis like:


$10 per character for a full or 3/4 body pencil sketch like:

$15 per for coloured full or 3/4 body pencil

and for shipping plus an extra 50 cents each I will make stickers of your commission for you. I can also do iron on patches of them for an extra $1 each

Some of you at least I know follow Type-D the story I have been writing with my wife in our almost non-existent free time for a couple of years now. If you don't you can get the gist of it here: [link] . I'm sure even fewer of you might remember that I had ambitions of doing a comic book sometime ago but I had come to the conclusion that my work wasn't really tight enough to cut it in that medium.

We while we have been working on the story and flushing out the characters and the universe we haven't gotten a lot of writing done. While we love writing it's sort of hard to force ourselves to write so coherently and concretely as to suite the style that the story needs to get told in.

So... and one done the maths yet?

We are going to be doing Type-D as a comic. Starting with the next chapter, number seven, and after that going back and doing one through six. We might get bored and do eight in the middle of that, but it's the plan for now.

I have been uploading some art work for the comic and I still have a lot of character design to do a lot with page sketches and what not. You'll be seeing a lot of that coming up.

Life has been kind of hectic. I have a few more sticker and patch designs I need to get going for my etsy shop. I have also been thinking about doing some prints, if there is anything thing that anyone would be interested in getting as a print then let me know in comments or notes.

It has been requested that I draw some of my old angel stuff which means I'm going to have to try and remember what my characters looked like. :-P
